Likewise the spirit also helpeth our infirmities : for we know not what we should pray for as we ought : but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27.And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is in the mind of the Spirit, // because he maketh intercession for the saints, according to the will of God. Romans 8:26,27 Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by (supplication) and prayer with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. Definition; (supplicate,supplication)- to address in prayer. To beseech. - Humble and earnest prayer; entreaty. In order to pray (which means to address God) and He is spirit we must address him in the spirit, And the reason for this is that you pray according to His will! And not your own because we are limited in insight and wisdom. To be lead by, and to wait on, the Holy spirit for direction and answers as to what to request is prayer. Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have // in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, he hearith us And in order to do this we have to sit still and wait on the spirit of God to pray with power, which is praying according to Gods will, not our own which is limited in wisdom. For only God knows what is best for us. Psalms 46:10 Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. Ecclesiastes 5:1,2 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear than to give sacrifice of fools:for they consider not they do evil. 2.
