Wood Duck pairs in good numbers Northern Harford County.

The past week or so, I have counted numerous pairs of woodducks in and around my home over the last week or so.  It has been exciting to see so many.  I was really excited on Sunday as my son and I viewed 4 pairs in a field that had a huge puddle from all the rain.  Then I saw another pair on a pond not far away.  My wife reported seeing a bunch the other day as well.  Yesterday I found a pair on Deer Creek.  And today I saw a pair flying over in another area.  I didn't get to put up any nesting boxes like I had planned to do this Spring.  But I am enjoying seeing what I am seeing.
