It's nice to see a place like this. I have been heckled alot in the DU site. I am a single parent of two boys. One is 18, and one is 17. I also am a  retired social worker. I have had three back surgeries one with rods and pins, I Also have some other issues with my health. Thats why I don't work. Any thing I say on DU gets turned around. One question was what do we take to camp, I had said some beer, or whisky for after the hunt. And it got turned in to I said to take alcohol and drugs to the blind. It's just not fair. I live in Michigan the UP. Once November comes, it seems the birds are gone. The numbers dwindle down, and it get cold here too.

Maryland, here ... and things are just starting to heat up as far as bird numbers.  Usually by December is the best.  Last season January was phenominal.
