end of season,so I got a new call

Just got my new call today,its not a magic flute,but it maybe close.
its a JJ Lares Hybrid.very nice call hope to use it next season

now that you have had few months to run that hybrid, how do you like it?

I haven't played with it much.I am trying to learn comp calling(mainstreet) so I spend most of my time working on that.I like my Daisy Cutter a little better,but I have been using that for years.I'll fool around with it for a few weeks and get back to ya.

Worked on the call with a friend,he recut a new reed without the factory dogear,the call sounds real good.
There are some that would say it is the best call made,me I don't find it any better than a lot of other calls.

I got a tip that the Buck Gardner "sipt fire" is as good or better.

If you like calls,the JJ Lares is a good call to have.
It is not a magic flue though
